2026 FAHQ Conference Call for Abstracts

FAHQ Annual Conference April 1 – April 3, 2026

Submit your abstract for the 2026 Conference

The FAHQ Conference Planning Team has issued a Call for Abstracts for speakers and posters for the March 31 – April. 2026 conference in Orlando.  We are first asking for an abstract of your intended plenary or poster presentation.  Once selected, you will be asked to submit additional information to allow for pre-approval of continuing education hours and to develop materials to let potential attendees know what you are presenting.

SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT ON-LINE

Deadline date overview for abstracts and applications:

• August 13 – Call for abstracts activated.
• September 30 – Final date for abstract submission.
• October 31 – Final date for notifying presenters chosen for the conference, with request for additional CE approval information. Applications will be provided to poster presenters and speakers selected for the 2026 conference.
• November 14 – Confirm your acceptance to speak or present a poster.
• November 15 – Final date for submitting additional information and application.

What does FAHQ want for speaker and poster topics?

• Topics related to the work we do every day to maintain and continuously improve the quality and safety of the care and services we provide in our Florida healthcare organizations.
• Clinical and non-clinical examples of how best practice was applied in your organization. What worked and what you would do differently.
• Foundational information about concepts that can be applied to not only improve the care and services we provide, but also to improve your organization (high reliability, learning organization, just culture, transformational leadership, emotional intelligence, human system design, etc.)
• See specific suggestions made by our conference attendees to help you decide if your topic fits.
