The Fall 2022 CPHQ Virtual Study Group will consist of five 1-hour sessions scheduled every week over a five-week period beginning October 5, 2022. Each session will be led by a CPHQ-certified moderator as well as other CPHQ-certified subject matter experts who will share their knowledge of the exam content outline, preparation tips, and effective use of additional resources.  Participants will have an opportunity to ask specific content or other questions regarding their exam preparation.

The speakers will share information about how Nurse Residency program leaders at Mayo Clinic Arizona partnered with one of their organization’s quality professionals to innovate the Nurse Residency program.  New nurses were able to learn about quality and safety through the use of simulation.  Various learning modalities were incorporated to make the learning curriculum engaging and meaningful.  This session will highlight the curriculum design and quality/safety analysis tool which can be adapted to any healthcare setting and audience
