Happy New Year FAHQ members! Despite the ups and downs that 2021 brought to Florida’s healthcare organizations I am happy to report that FAHQ continues to thrive. We are truly a member driven organization full of dedicated healthcare professionals.
It was exciting to see our members continue to embrace the educational opportunities that FAHQ offered in 2021 despite the challenges we all faced. Members created content, worked through the logistics of virtual learning, volunteered as speakers, and participated in the offerings. Here are some FAHQ 2021 highlights:
I am personally grateful to each of our members who contributed to these successful endeavors. It takes lots of volunteer time and dedication to put these types of programs together. It has been rewarding to watch some of you take that next step in your career by participating as a speaker or developing a webinar. To learn more about education opportunities FAHQ offers visit the FAHQ website and click on the education tab.
I am excited to meet and work with our members who have stepped into new roles for 2022. We have both new Board members and new Team members. I look forward to working with each of you in 2022 as we continue to make FAHQ better. For those of you who have not yet joined a team there are still opportunities. There are needs for members in each of the following teams: Professional Development, Member Development, Communications, Finance, Bylaws, Conference Planning, and Nominations. To learn more about these teams visit the FAHQ website, click on the About Us tab, then click on Volunteer for a FAHQ Team. If you want to volunteer email teams@fahq.org.
I look forward to serving our FAHQ members in the coming year. If you have ideas about how to make FAHQ better please let me know.
