FAHQ Collaborative Education

The FAHQ Professional Development Team is pleased to collaborate with healthcare quality and safety leaders from Florida and other state and national quality associations to provide FAHQ members access to excellent educational opportunities.

FAHQ is pleased to continue collaboration with the Florida Society of Healthcare Risk Management and Patient Safety (FSHRMPS).  Your FAHQ leadership recognizes the importance of strengthening the ability of our quality professionals to work effectively with their risk and patient safety colleagues daily.

2023 Leadership Academy
October 28, 2023 in Orlando

The program is designed for risk management, patient safety and quality professionals who are seeking to develop the skills necessary to transition from management to leadership.

Speakers will provide a framework for understanding and practicing leadership, while highlighting fundamental skills needed to lead risk management and or patient safety initiatives in today’s complex healthcare system. Participants receive practical strategies for strengthening leadership and collaboration skills.

Healthcare Quality Collective (HQC)

Since 2019, HQC has worked to bring active state healthcare quality associations together to provide continuing education to all of their members.  FAHQ joined the collective in 2021, which now includes eight state or regional associations.  All  participating associations offer quarterly webinars free to active members of any participating association.  Webinars are pre-approved for CPHQ recertification credit by NAHQ.
