CPHQ Review and Preparation

CPHQ Prep Virtual Study Group

The FAHQ Professional Development Team (PDT) developed and hosted two virtual study groups in 2023 that were well received. We are now planning our next study group.  The CPHQ Virtual Study Group will be led by a CPHQ-certified moderator as well as other CPHQ-certified subject matter experts who will share their knowledge of the exam content outline, preparation tips, and effective use of additional resources.  Our format will follow the 2023 CPHQ Content Outline.
Fees:
       FAHQ Members – Free
       Non-Members – $75.00

Review Courses

The Association for Healthcare Quality of Arizona (AzAHQ), a participant in the Healthcare Quality Collective, is offering “The Quality Journey” (review and prep for certification) On April 26 &27, 2024.  Download Flyer for more information and to register.  AzAHQ is offering HQC members, including FAHQ members, registration at their member rate.

The Oregon Association for Healthcare Quality, a participant in the Healthcare Quality Collective, is currently planning two live virtual CPHQ Review Courses, July 18-20 and November 14-16.  More information will be posted here as plans finalized.

The National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) no longer licenses review course content to state quality associations, so FAHQ cannot directly offer a course to our membership.  However, NAHQ does have a wide variety of options for participating in one of their courses and accessing other NAHQ products to aid in your preparation.

See NAHQ CPHQ Prep Products, including the instructor-led, live, virtual CPHQ Prep Course.

CPHQ Prep Mentoring (FAHQ Members Only)

FAHQ offers mentoring by a currently certified CPHQ to assist our members in their preparation for the examination.  The mentor/mentee relationship is established after an initial assessment of the FAHQ member’s study needs.  If you are already in a study group at your workplace or virtually, FAHQ will consider assigning a mentor to the group.

Please review the Mentorship Guidelines and Mentoring Agreement and  for a better understanding of requirements.  Then contact the FAHQ Professional Development Team to request a mentor for CPHQ Prep.

Contact FAHQ CPHQ Team for questions, additional information, or to suggest other ways your association can help our members in preparing for the certification exam.  Want to be a mentor? Let us know at CPHQteam@fahq.org.
